Two Fokker D.VII’s were used by the Latvian Air Arm. One in flying condition was abandoned by the Germans at Spilve, this was the 8595/18. Another one was also found at Spilve, but this one was not airworthy. The Fokker 8595/18 was put into use with Latvia serial ‘4’. It was used against the Bolsheviks and was transferred to the flying school in 1921. It had an ground accident with a Halberstadt C.V and was not repaired.
A second Fokker D.VII from unkown source was put into service as ’16’. It was also used at the flying school until a crash destroyed it at Spilve on 21 august 1923.
