The Fokker D.VII in Turkey

During World War I, some D.VII’s were used by the Ottoman Turkish Air Force. These were mostly flown by German pilots.

After the war, the Turkish Air Force used 7 D.VII’s, probably taken over from retreating Germans. They were registered ‘FD 9’ to ‘FD 15’. Of their further use, nothing is known.
